Rookie mistake on a drop ceiling install yesterday
Was running coax through a drop ceiling at a school near downtown Portland and forgot to check the ceiling grid for loose tiles. Tried to push the fish tape through and a tile fell right on the projector cart below. Bossman is gonna deduct the cost of the lamp from my check. Anyone else have a goof that cost em out of pocket?

Gravity always wins in the end, especially when you're on a deadline and the boss is watching.

Not gonna lie, that hit a little too close to home. I dropped a whole tray of coffee cups last Friday because I was trying to walk and look at my phone at the same time. Boss was standing right there too, just watched the whole thing happen in slow motion. He didn't say a word, just gave me that look like "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed." And I had to sit in a sticky puddle of latte for the rest of the morning. Gravity doesn't care about your excuses, it just does its thing.
