Best week vs worst week as an injured worker - which one hits harder?
Got me thinking after my buddy's case settled last month. He had a real good week when his doctor finally cleared him for light duty after 8 months of fighting. Then the next week his lawyer dropped him because the insurance company offered a lowball deal. Just wild how quick things flip in this system.
For me, my worst week was when my QME came back saying I was only 5% disabled when my own doc said 15%. Felt like a gut punch. But my best week was when my union rep found a typo in the paperwork that got my claim reopened. That was 2 years ago.
What's your story? Did you have a week that was straight up terrible or one where everything finally clicked? Which side you on - the good weeks worth the bad ones or nah?

Ngl, get everything in writing. Saved me when I had to fight my own QME results.

So did they actually try to deny your claim outright, or was it more of a "we need more proof" situation? Just trying to figure out how shady they get when the paperwork's not on your side.
