PSA: I hit 18 months on my claim and the QME letter still hasn't shown up

I filed my claim in Fresno back in early 2024 and just passed 18 months waiting for a QME appointment, which is way past the 30 days they're supposed to take. My adjuster keeps saying it's backed up but offers no date, and I'm stuck without treatment or a rating. Has anyone in the Valley actually gotten their QME scheduled faster, or is this just how it goes now?
