QME doc told me to stop downplaying my pain, changed my whole case
During my evaluation in Fresno, the doc said 'you keep saying you're fine but your records show otherwise' and it hit me that I'd been minimizing symptoms to seem tough. I rewrote my symptom log with actual daily pain levels and sleep loss, and it made my attorney's demands way stronger. Has anyone else gotten this kind of blunt feedback from a doctor and used it to adjust their approach?

Man, that doc basically called you out on your own BS. I did the same thing at my eval, told the guy I was "managing" while my MRI looked like a war zone. Once I started writing down the real stuff, like how I can't sleep more than 4 hours without waking up in pain, my lawyer actually got excited. Turns out being a tough guy just makes you look like a liar on paper. Pain Olympics, man, you gotta know when to drop the act and let the records do the talking. Glad you figured it out before the report got written, some people never do.

Recording the pain meds you skip makes you look more honest than the ones you take.
