Question about filing for sleep issues after a back injury

Before my warehouse accident at a Fontana DC last May, I used to just pop a melatonin and be out cold by 10pm, no problem. Now I'm dealing with this messed up sleep schedule where I'm waking up every 90 minutes from nerve pain or just being uncomfortable, and my adjuster is asking for a sleep study referral. Has anyone here actually gotten their workers' comp to cover a CPAP machine or sleep meds when it's tied to the injury pain?

That 90 minute cycle thing sounds exactly like what I dealt with. Did they actually send you for the sleep study yet or are they just talking about it?

Every 90 minutes? That's brutal man, how are you even functioning right now?

Man, that's WILD. @gray6 have you actually tried tracking HOW long you can push through without a break? I'm genuinely curious if your brain just adapts after a while or if you hit a wall every time.
