Serious question, did a $250 ergonomic chair actually help anyone here after a back injury?

Got a used Steelcase for like $180 after my sciatica flared up and yeah it made a real difference. The big thing was the seat depth and back support, my old $60 chair was killing me by noon. Still gotta get up and walk around every hour though, the chair alone won't fix everything.
