Took me 8 weeks to get a simple shoulder MRI approved

I hurt my shoulder at work in February. Doctor said get an MRI, I figured a week tops. Workers comp sent it back twice for missing codes. Then the imaging place said they don't take my adjuster's authorization. Finally got it done yesterday. Has anyone else had the adjuster straight up ignore the doctor's orders for weeks?

Did the adjuster actually give you a reason for ignoring the doctor, or did they just keep saying it was "under review"? I only ask because mine kept telling me that for three weeks before they admitted they lost the paperwork twice. Seems like they use that phrase as a catch-all excuse to delay everything.

@hayden466 mine pulled the "under review" card for two months straight before I threatened to get a lawyer involved. Turns out they just kept losing my emails and never actually looked at anything until I made a stink about it. "Under review" is just insurance code for "we're hoping you give up.

Logan, did you end up filing that lawyer threat or just making noise?
