A guy came into my shop with a broken 1970s Polaroid and just wanted the photos inside
He was in his 60s, said he found it in his dad's attic in Portland. The film pack was still in there, probably from 30 years ago. He didn't care if the camera worked again, he just wanted me to get the undeveloped shots out in the darkroom. I managed to salvage three blurry pictures of a backyard barbecue. Anyone else had someone more interested in the old film than the actual repair?

Wait, the film was from the 70s?!

Had a lady bring in a VHS camcorder just to digitize the tape. It was her son's first steps, she cried when she saw it.

My buddy works at a camera shop. He said a guy came in with a box of old home movies, found footage of his dad who passed away. Got real quiet watching it on the screen.
