Appreciation post: A customer brought in a 1980s point-and-shoot last week, insisting the 'film advance is broken' because the lever wouldn't move. It was just out of batteries. The motorized winder was dead.

That's a pretty common mix-up with those old cameras. Is it really worth a whole post though?

Hey @victorb74, I get where you're coming from. I almost tossed my old one before I found the right battery online, saved me a ton of cash.

Hey man, I've made posts for way dumber stuff. At least this is about cameras and not me trying to figure out which way a USB plug goes.
