That old timer who fixed my Rolleiflex in 20 minutes flat
Back in 2018 this guy at a camera swap in Denver took one look at my stuck shutter, reached into his vest, and flicked it free with a dental pick. He just smiled and said 'these things just need a little persuasion sometimes.' Has anyone else met those repair wizards who can fix anything without even looking?

Oh man, yes! There's this older guy at a repair shop near me who fixed my granddad's old Nikon like it was nothing. I brought it in with a broken film advance lever, and he just grabbed it, wiggled it a bit, and it clicked right back into place. He told me 'these cameras just want to work, you gotta be patient with them.' I swear those guys have magic hands or something. Did he charge you anything for that quick fix?

My buddy had a beat up Pentax K1000 that wouldn't wind film at all. He took it to this crusty old guy in a basement shop in Portland, and the dude barely looked at it before he reached for a screwdriver. He popped off the bottom plate, blew some dust out with his breath, and it worked perfectly again. My friend offered him twenty bucks but he just waved him off and said 'go buy some film instead.'
