Spent 45 minutes trying to find a leak in my tent last night

Turns out it was just a tiny pinhole near the seam where the rainfly attaches. I was checking every zipper and corner but missed that spot twice. Anyone else have a leak that took forever to track down?

Oh man, I actually just read something about this. There's this tip I saw where you can use a soapy water spray bottle to find pinhole leaks. You just spray the suspect areas and look for bubbles. Saved me hours of frustration last year. My tent had a similar tiny hole right where the fly pole sleeve was stitched. It was only letting in a mist but that's plenty to soak your sleeping bag if it rains enough.

Yeah "looking for bubbles" is solid advice. @oscarb77 that soap trick works great but I find you gotta use a tiny bit of dish soap mixed really well or it just runs off. I always check the seams first cause those are almost always the problem spots on any tent. Another thing that helps is holding the sprayer real close and giving it a couple good squirts cause misty leaks need the soap right on em to foam up proper.
