Checked the temp rating before you bought it? Because thats the real issue here. That number on the tag is a "survival" rating, not a comfort rating, and they never tell you that. You'd be fine at 38 degrees in that bag if you were fighting for your life, but for actually sleeping? You'd need a bag rated for like 20 degrees to stay warm at 38. The whole industry plays this game where the advertised number is basically lies.
