Cut off my own cousin after she doxxed a classmate for a bad take

My cousin posted my old high school email in a group chat after I defended a kid who made an edgy joke. The kid got 40 messages of hate in one night. I reported her to our family and she says I'm the toxic one because she was 'holding people accountable.' I backed out of her wedding party last month in Columbus and honestly it's been quiet but weird. Has anyone else had to pick family over some online mob logic and regret it or not?
