I called out a former coworker for faking COVID test results and got blocked by half my department
Spent 4 months dealing with drama after I posted screenshots proving she lied about a positive test to get paid time off. HR did nothing, but now people at work won't even look at me in the break room. Has anyone else lost work friends over calling out obvious BS?

Just frame it as a genuine question next time, like "oh wait really? i thought it was X, how'd it turn out Y?" Gets them curious instead of defensive. Worked for me when someone swore their way was faster on a project.
