My buddy swears by putting duct tape on everything, told me to fix my cracked phone screen with it
I actually tried it and it looked like a mess for two weeks until I dropped my phone and the tape peeled right off, screen shattered worse. Has anyone else gotten hilariously bad advice from a friend who thinks they're a MacGyver type?

And that's exactly what I mean, people think one quick fix works for everything but life is usually more complicated than that. @king.stella you're right, it's like they heard a single trick from their dad or a youtube video and now it's their whole toolbox. In my experience, the ones who brag about being MacGyvers are the same ones who end up making things ten times worse before calling a professional.
