Serious question, why do we shield big influencers but torch small creators?
I watched a 2M follower YouTuber get a slap on the wrist for the same joke that got my friend with 3k followers banned from every platform last month. Has anyone else noticed this double standard or am I just bitter?
That 2M vs 3k gap is probably the whole thing right there. The platform knows the big account brings in ad money and keeps people on the app, so a ban costs them way more than it costs your friend. My question is whether the big guy even got flagged by the same system, or if a real human stepped in and quietly let it slide. If it's the second one, then the rule isn't the rule, it's just whatever keeps the cash flowing.
