The mechanic in Tulsa who refused to fix my car and then called it 'woke'
So back in March I took my Civic to a shop off Route 66 in Tulsa because the check engine light came on. The guy at the counter, older dude with a Vietnam hat, plugged in his scanner and said it was a loose gas cap. Then he just stopped and stared at my bumper. I have a small rainbow sticker my niece gave me, like 2 inches wide. He told me he didn't work on cars owned by 'people who support that lifestyle' and asked me to leave. I was so stunned I just got in my car and drove off, check engine light still on. My wife thinks I should have called the owner or posted the shop name online, but I keep going back and forth on it. Anyone else have a business refuse service over something that had nothing to do with the actual job?
