Unpopular opinion: My garage cleanup video sparked a cancel culture firestorm

I want to warn you about sharing simple home projects online. I posted a video of me cleaning out my garage and donating old stuff. People accused me of throwing away historic items without respect. My inbox filled with angry messages calling me ignorant and demanding I take it down. It felt like a mob attack over a basic cleanup task. Now I think twice before posting anything personal. Cancel culture can turn any innocent action into a big problem.

I mean it's just cleaning a garage, people need to chill.

Your point about cancel culture turning innocent actions into problems is so real. I read a news piece about a woman who posted a closet cleanup and people accused her of wasting vintage fabric. They said she should have donated it to a museum instead of tossing it. Another story was about a guy who recycled old electronics and got slammed for not considering e-waste properly. It feels like no matter what you do, someone will find fault. Makes sharing everyday stuff online seem risky.

Ask what makes people so quick to judge everyday posts online.
