Found a hidden water stain under a 20-year-old pad in St. Louis
Pulled up some old carpet in a St. Louis condo last week and the pad underneath was soaked, smelled like a swamp, and the concrete was cracked. The homeowner said there was never a leak, but I can't wrap my head around how that much moisture hid for two decades. Has anyone else pulled up old carpet and found water damage that nobody knew about?

Whoa, slow down there, no way that moisture stayed hidden for 20 years without SOMEONE knowing about it.
