Had to pick between a drop-down power stretcher and a standard one for my new setup
I got a big job installing carpet in a new house in Nashville last week and needed a good power stretcher. I went with the drop-down model because it seemed easier on my knees for long runs, but now I am struggling to get it to grip on tight corners. Should I have just stuck with the standard head for this kind of work?

Man, my buddy had the exact same issue last month on a house in Smyrna. He ended up switching back to the standard head after day two and said it was way better for the corners.
