That one complaint about my seams stuck with me
Back in 2019, a homeowner in Phoenix pointed out a seam that caught the light just right. She said it looked like a flat road bump, and honestly, she was right. I started using a seam iron with a roller attachment on every stretch room after that, even if it added 20 minutes a job. Have any of you had a customer spot something you'd been ignoring for months?

Had a lady in Mesa once walk her dogs over every single seam in her new carpet like she was doing an inspection. She found a tiny ripple near the door that I'd walked past maybe five times that week. Said it looked like a wrinkle in a bedsheet, and after she pointed it out, I couldn't unsee it. Started stretching that area twice on every install after that. Sometimes you need a customer to be a little extra to catch the stuff your eyes just skip over.
