My uncle told me to skip the $9 burrito cart and hit the taqueria around back instead
My uncle has lived in Phoenix for 30 years and he kept telling me the little cart by the park was a tourist trap. Last Saturday I finally tried the taqueria two blocks behind it and got three tacos plus rice and beans for $7.50, and it blew the cart away. The cart charges $9 for one burrito that is mostly rice. Now I want to know if anyone else has a family member who knows the real cheap spots in their city, because I clearly need more of these tips.

Isnt it funny how the places that look the least special always end up being the best? Same thing happens with haircuts and car repair, the fancy sign costs you extra and the guy in the plain shop does better work for half the price. Your uncle basically handed you a cheat code, so keep asking him where to eat.
