My fancy coffee shop habit got replaced by library hangouts

I used to think you had to spend 5 bucks on a latte just to sit somewhere nice and read. Then 3 months ago my friend dragged me to the downtown public library in Portland for their free community room. They have couches, wi-fi, and nobody bugs you. Last week I even found a $7 board game in their clearance section that we played for 4 hours. Has anyone else found a weird cheap spot that beats the usual expensive hangouts?

Honestly, check if your library has a tool lending section too. Saves a ton.

Libraries are cool but lets not act like spending 4 hours on a clearance board game is some life changing event.
