PSA: the free museum pass thing is oversold, the actual cheap thrill is your library's seed swap
Everyone in this group keeps pushing the same library museum pass hack, but in my city the passes get grabbed in under 5 minutes and half the museums still charge you a $12 parking fee. The thing nobody talks about is that the same library card gets you into a seed swap on the second Saturday, and I walked out with 14 packets of tomato and pepper seeds for zero dollars. Has anyone else tried a seed swap, or is it just my branch that does this?

Whoa, my buddy hit up his branch's swap last spring and came home with like a dozen pepper packets plus some weird basil. He said half the fun was just chatting with the old guys about which tomatoes actually survive here. Free seeds beat a museum pass you gotta fight for any day.
