That 10 dollar board game night saved my whole friend group

Last month I grabbed a used copy of Codenames at my local thrift store for 8 bucks, and we've played it every Friday since. My buddy was all about dropping 60 on the latest video games, but this old cardboard box got everyone laughing way harder. It honestly beat the 40 dollar trivia night we tried downtown once, which ended with someone arguing over a ruling. Any of you got a dirt cheap game that turned into your regular hangout thing? I'm looking for the next steal under 10.

And honestly that's the thing about cheap games, they don't feel like a waste if everybody ends up yelling at each other in a good way. I once got a used copy of Uno for 3 bucks and it turned into our Sunday night thing for like six months, but I quickly learned I'm the person who loses friendships over Draw Four cards. People get way more heated over a 3 dollar deck than any expensive game I've ever bought, it's wild. Now I'm just scared to bring out anything else cause I might actually get uninvited from my own couch.
