TIL that the guy at the record store in Boise was right about dollar bin jazz
He told me last winter to stop buying $20 reissues and just dig through the dollar bins for old Blue Note pressings, and I finally tried it at his shop on State Street. Walked out with 9 records for $9 and 3 of them sound better than the fancy reissue I paid $28 for. Anyone else got a cheap digging spot that actually pays off?
