Unpopular opinion: my $4 thrift store bread maker makes better cheap date nights than any $60 restaurant
I grabbed a barely-used bread maker for $4 at a Goodwill in Tulsa last year, and last Friday my girlfriend and I made a garlic loaf together for maybe 80 cents in flour and yeast, then ate the whole thing on the porch with a $3 bottle of wine. The machine broke halfway through and we had to finish the dough by hand, which honestly turned into the best part. Has anyone else scored a cheap kitchen gadget that turned into a go-to date idea?
