A customer in Maplewood gave me a jar of honey after I cleared her old flue

I was finishing up a job on a brick chimney from the 1920s, and the homeowner, an older lady, came out with a small jar. She said, 'My bees made this, and you kept my house safe, so it's yours.' It happened right there on her driveway, with my gear still spread out. What's the nicest thing a customer has ever given you after a job?

Remember that a flue is inside the chimney. You cleared the old flue liner, not the whole flue itself. That homemade honey sounds like a perfect trade for a job well done. What did the jar look like?

That homemade honey trade sounds awesome, @kim.xena, and you're totally right about the flue liner thing.

Yeah, that "perfect trade" idea is spot on.
