Appreciation post: I cleaned my 500th chimney in Boulder last month

It was a big old stone fireplace in a house near Chautauqua Park, and the number really hit me. I started keeping a simple log book five years ago and never thought I'd get that high. Has anyone else tracked their jobs and been surprised by the total?

Oh man, a live frog beats my weird find! @sageross, that's pretty wild. The strangest for me was opening a box and finding a perfectly preserved, framed photo of someone's pet iguana wearing a tiny hat. No note, nothing. Just a lizard in a sombrero staring back at me. Had to be a packing mistake from the seller, but it was a trip.
