Hit 100 flue inspections last month and it changed my mind about brush-only cleaning

I always thought a good manual brushing was enough, but after that 100th job I started using a vacuum attachment too... seeing the hidden dust in the camera made me switch. Has anyone else had a number like that shift their go-to method?

Ditched the brush-only approach after my 50th inspection. That camera showed me crust I was missing for years. Now I always vacuum first then brush, no going back.

That vacuum-first method is a game changer. I used to think brushing was enough but the camera shows you all the hidden sludge stuck in the corners. The trick is to go slow with the vacuum nozzle, really get into the crevices. Then the brush just polishes everything off clean. I've been doing it this way for about two years now and my inspections have been way smoother. The only downside is it adds like ten minutes but totally worth it.
