Hit 2,000 flue cleanings last Tuesday and it stopped me cold

I was just going through the motions on a routine job downtown when I realized I'd crossed 2,000 cleanings. That made me stop and think about how many fires I might have prevented without ever knowing about it. Has anyone else had a milestone like that hit them out of nowhere?

Did you hear about my buddy Tom who hit 1,000 oil changes at his shop and had to pull over because it hit him so hard? He said the same thing about all the engines he probably saved without even knowing it.

That's a beautiful thing, isn't it? I mean, 1,000 oil changes is a serious milestone, and it makes you stop and think about all the little choices we make that add up over time. Your buddy Tom sounds like a good guy for feeling that way, most people would just punch the clock and move on. I hope he took a moment to appreciate what he's done, those saved engines are real people's cars staying on the road.
