Tried a new creosote remover from a supply house in Omaha and it actually made the buildup worse.
It was a gel formula that hardened into a crust instead of breaking down, took me an extra hour to chip out. Anyone run into a product that backfired like that?

Ever have a cleaner that works so well it creates more work? I bought a spray once that promised to lift grease off my grill grates. It basically cooked on a sticky, clear shell that was harder to scrub off than the original burnt stuff. Felt like I invented a new type of dirt.
