Honestly the "blew it off for 2 summers" part is hitting way too close to home because I did the exact same thing with a weather strip my dad gave me like three years ago. It sat in my garage so long the package turned yellow and I finally put it on last month in like ten minutes. My bill dropped about 25 bucks that first month and I just stood there staring at the paper feeling like a genius and a complete idiot at the same time. Two summers of that money gone because I decided I knew better than a guy who has lived here since before I was born. Seal the door, dude. Don't be like past me.
