Shoutout to my sister for turning our kitchen into a composting conflict zone

She consistently tosses banana peels and coffee grounds into the regular trash, despite my clear labeling on the compost bin. I've tried making it easier by placing a small container next to the sink, but she just ignores it. This is creating more waste and tension between us, and I'm running out of ideas. How have you navigated similar resistance from family members when introducing eco-friendly habits?

Idk, I see it as more of a conscious oversight than a blindness. People tend to forget about compost bins when they're not part of their daily routine. It's fixable with a little effort, in my experience.

Yeah the "daily routine" part is key. If it's not built into the habit like taking out trash, it just feels like extra work. Gotta make it automatic.
