Traded my gas guzzler for an ebike, best call in 2 years
Back in 2021 I was dropping $240 a month on gas for my commute from Maplewood to downtown St. Paul. Finally swapped it for a used RadRover and honestly, the first month was rough with winter rides and charging the battery at my desk. But now I've put 3,100 miles on it and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Anyone else made the jump and actually stuck with it, or did you end up back behind the wheel?

...my buddy Dave actually did the exact same thing, traded his F-150 for a Juiced bike back in spring of 2022. He figured he'd save on gas but what really got him was the parking, he worked in a building that charged $9 a day for a spot. His first winter he almost quit, took a nasty spill on some black ice near the Capitol and showed up to a meeting with a torn coat and scraped elbow. But he stuck it out, now he's got a little trailer setup for groceries and he's the one laughing at all of us when gas prices spike. He says the only real downside is the battery dies way faster when it's below freezing, so he keeps a backup charger at work.
