I was putting a roof on a place two blocks off the Mississippi in Davenport last April when the water came up fast and took a neighbor's whole dock downstream, and now I look at flood maps and grade before I even measure a roof, so I'm curious if other contractors out there are turning down low-lying jobs or just pricing them different.
