Hot take: a single chip in my collet chuck ate 3 hours of my Tuesday
Spent the whole morning chasing a .002 taper on a batch of 4140 pins at the shop in Tulsa before I found a chipped jaw hiding under the grease. How do you all check collets, eyeball them or break out the indicator every time?
