My coolant pump seized up right before a big run of 304 stainless parts

It happened Monday morning, right after I loaded the program. I had to pull the whole pump assembly, clean out a bunch of gunk, and replace the impeller. Anyone have a good source for replacement pumps that won't break the bank?

Honestly, that pump failure might be a hidden BLESSING. A seized pump on a Monday means you caught it before a catastrophic failure mid-run. Imagine ruining a whole batch of 304 parts or damaging the spindle from overheating. That gunk cleanup and impeller swap is basic maintenance you were going to need anyway. Sometimes the machine tells you it needs a break.

Check the coolant mix ratio too.

Dumped a whole bottle of distilled water in mine after flushing it out twice. Made a world of difference in the flow.
