Ran my last 40 parts with the door open instead of the enclosure, and chip clearing got way easier
I used to keep the door shut on my Haas VF2 out of habit, but after a coolant line popped last Tuesday and soaked me, I started running small aluminum batches with it cracked and haven't had a single recut since, so is this just a rookie move or do other guys do it too?
