Warning: My 5-year-old apprentice just called out my habit of eye-balling offsets

Kid straight up said 'you're gonna crash a spindle someday' and I couldn't even argue. He timed me on a .003in adjustment and I was off by .008in on two parts last shift. Anyone else get humbled by a new guy recently?
