Finally got my first Python script to run without a syntax error after like 5 tries

I kept messing up the indentation, but watching a 10-minute YouTube video on the basics totally clicked. Anyone have a good next step for a tiny project to try?

That's a great milestone. I'd suggest trying a small script to rename files in a folder. It's practical and teaches you about working with your computer's file system.

Nice! I swear that first clean run feels like magic. The file renaming idea is solid, I did something similar with my music folder.

Oh man, totally! That first time it just works is the best. I started adding dates to my file names too, makes finding old stuff way easier.
