I just learned that over 70% of beginner coders quit in the first three months
I was reading an article from a coding bootcamp's blog yesterday, and they shared a stat that really got me. It said more than 70% of people who start learning to code give up within the first 90 days. That's a huge number! It made me think about my own start a year ago. I remember hitting a wall with my first JavaScript project and almost stopping too. The article said the main reason isn't talent, but getting stuck on a small bug and not knowing how to ask for help. It's so easy to feel like you're the only one not getting it. Now I make sure to take a break when I'm stuck and look for answers on forums. Has anyone else found a good trick to push through when you feel like quitting?

Notice this happens with every new skill from guitar to gardening. People expect fast wins and get discouraged by the first real hurdle. The trick is accepting that being stuck is just part of the process, not a sign to quit.

Being stuck is part of the process" is so true. I tell myself to just do five more minutes, and that often gets me past it.

Just five more minutes" works for @murphy.barbara but honestly sometimes you just need to walk away for a day. Coming back fresh makes the problem way clearer.
