Showerthought: I accidentally wrote 100 lines of code in one sitting and didn't even notice
Last Tuesday I sat down to fix a tiny bug in my Python script and somehow ended up rewriting the whole thing. I looked up four hours later and my file was 100 lines longer. I only noticed because VS Code showed the line count in the corner, and I just stared at it for a minute. I'm 3 months into learning to code, so hitting triple digits felt like a lot. Most of it was just copy pasting from Stack Overflow and changing variable names, but still. It made me think about how time disappears when you're deep in a problem. How many lines was your first big project, and did you even realize how long you'd been at it?
