Spent 3 hours yesterday trying to center a div in my first project

I finally got it after watching a YouTube video from Kevin Powell. Has anyone else had a simple CSS thing take way too long to figure out?

I read a blog post about how our brains dump temporary solutions after a problem is solved. It called it a cognitive clearing process that makes room for new tasks. That's probably why the fix never sticks in your memory.
