Aeropress hype had me rolling my eyes for 5 years, then a $13 knockoff changed my mind

I finally caved and used a cheap plastic one at a campsite in Utah last month, and the lack of grit plus the clean cleanup made me wonder why I ever defended my drip machine so hard, so anyone else who was late to this party, what finally sold you?

Paper filters are key, grab the metal mesh one on Amazon to get the full body without the grit. Also flip it over and press it into your mug real slow, that's how you get that smooth crema without the mess.
