Dropped $120 on a bean subscription and it backfired hard

I signed up for this fancy monthly coffee subscription about three months ago, thinking it would save me from buying stale grocery store beans. The first bag was amazing, really fruity and bright. But then they kept sending super light roasts that tasted like sour grass juice in my espresso machine, and I'm just not into that. Anyone else get burned by a subscription that sounded good on paper but didn't work for your setup?

I read that light roasts are tricky for espresso machines, you're not alone there.

Yeah, "tricky" is a good word for it, kind of like how the simplest things in life end up being the hardest to get right.
