I never noticed how much bean density shifts after 60 days in the roaster

I was doing a routine batch log last night and weighed a few beans from a roast I did in March next to some from last week. The older ones were noticeably lighter, like 0.2 grams per bean less, which I didn't think would happen so visibly. Has anyone else tracked weight loss over time, or is this just my basement storage being too dry?
