Last week I poured boiling water straight into my French press and cracked the glass all over my counter at 6am

I was rushing before a job site meeting and didn't let the water cool for even 10 seconds, now I'm drinking instant coffee till I can order a replacement next payday, has anyone else had a glass press explode on them?

Oh come on, is it really that big of a deal? You're acting like it's the end of the world but instant coffee isn't that bad. Just be more careful next time and maybe don't put boiling water into a cold glass like that.

Respectfully gotta disagree, instant coffee literally tastes like burnt regret in a mug.
