My $30 French press made better coffee than my $300 espresso machine
Honestly, I read a coffee science blog that said pressure isn't everything, and after 6 months of dialing in shots, my cheap press with a 4 minute steep gets more flavor out of the same beans. Anyone else find that simpler gear beats the fancy stuff once you stop chasing crema?
