My cold brew tasted like dirt for months until I changed one thing

I couldn't figure out why my cold brew was always bitter and gross. Turns out I was using way too fine of a grind, like espresso fine. Switched to a coarse grind on my $30 burr grinder and the difference was insane. Now it comes out smooth and sweet every time. Anyone else struggle with grind size when they first started making cold brew?

Learned that lesson myself. Coarse grind changed everything for me too.

Yeah @mary776 nailed it. Coarse grind is the secret, not the fine stuff.
